This was posted last week, but it's just one small reason why I frakking love Battlestar Galactica.
(Other reasons: cute soldier boys, mind-blowing storylines, authentic reactions and relationships, sensational acting, kick-ass battles & action scenes, real emotion, and so much more.)

Just as an FYI, the acclaimed show Farscape was doing this prior to the new BSG (yes the original BSG was doing it too). Farscape used the made up f-word frell instead. It also used mivonks, dren, and farhbot.
HAHAHAHA! I couldn't decide how to respond to this comment. So, ANONYMOUS, take your pick from the following responses:
A) I am not only aware of both Farscape's frell and the original BSG's frack, all this info is in fact contained in the article I linked to.
B) The point of the article isn't "who came up with made-up f-bombs first." The point is that the new BSG has actually inserted frak into the vernacular, or popular culture. It's a phenomenon that doesn't invite the comparison between shows that you've introduced, but just reinforces the fact that the new BSG is, in fact, AWESOME.
C) Heh. Nerrrrrrrd.
D) Oh, frell off, nitpicker. Sheesh.
Frak shows up twice in the latest Buffy comic. I think Joss Whedon might be a nerd too.
